Odakyu Fujisawa Golf Club

神奈川県, Japan

Odakyu Fujisawa Golf Club is a historic public golf course established in 1960 as Japan's first full-fledged public course. Located in Ayase, Kanagawa Prefecture, it is conveniently accessible via the Odakyu Enoshima Line's Nagogo Station, with club bus service available. The 18-hole course was designed by renowned architect Yasuda Kōkichi, who skillfully incorporated natural tree-lined terrain and undulating fairways to create dynamic playing conditions. While fairways are generously wide, each hole features strategic elements around the greens, offering varied challenges throughout. The course is characterized by its strategic design rather than excessive difficulty. The clubhouse features traditional Japanese architectural elements with a distinctive large roof, and amenities include a restaurant with views of the 18th finishing hole, a competition room accommodating up to 120 people, and facilities for both male and female golfers. The course welcomes players of all levels and accepts both group competitions and individual rounds.
