Loxton Golf Club is a public access course located 8 kilometers from the town of Loxton in South Australia's Riverland region. The course features well-maintained greens and presents a relaxed, social atmosphere suited to golfing enthusiasts of all levels. Ranked among South Australia's top 10 courses, it is described as challenging and rewarding. The course underwent significant design enhancement in late 1963 when renowned superintendent and architect Vern Morcom was brought in to improve the layout. His contributions included lengthening several holes and creating the distinctive par-three 5th hole and the challenging par-four 8th hole. The course hosts numerous tournaments throughout the year, attracting strong support from both intra-state and interstate golfers. In 2026, the club celebrates its centenary and 75 years at its current location. Loxton Golf Club serves the local golfing community while welcoming visitors, and operates as a venue for tournaments, functions, and casual play. The facility also offers powered caravan camping sites with amenities.
