Circuito IDEATERRAZAS WAGC Andalucía 2026

The Circuito IDEATERRAZAS WAGC Andalucía 2026 is a regional qualifying event for the IDEATERRAZAS WAGC Andalucía golf circuit, held at Golf Torrequebrada, Benalmádena. This individual strokeplay (Medal Play) competition with a +4 handicap allowance serves as one of the regional tests to determine players who will advance to the regional final on 14 August at Cabopino Golf (Marbella), where 10 places are at stake (two per category). The top five from the regional final will travel to Madrid to compete at the national final on 5 September at Retamares Club de Golf, facing the best players from the regional circuits of Andalucía, Baleares, Cataluña, and Madrid-Castilla. The ultimate prize is representing Spain at the World Final in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, in late October. Open to amateur golfers of both sexes with Spanish nationality or residence in Spain, holding a valid Spanish federative licence. Maximum exact handicap: 25.4 for men, 36.0 for ladies. Five handicap categories: 0–5.4, 5.5–10.4, 10.5–15.4, 15.5–20.4, and 20.5–25.4 for men; 20.5–36 for ladies. Trophies awarded to first and second place in each of the five categories. Special prize: closest-to-the-pin competition for both sexes, with a Garmin watch prize for a hole-in-one. A prize draw with over 25 gifts (wine, vests, etc.) during the prize ceremony. Entry fee: €105 per person, including green fee, shared buggy, picnic at the start, and cocktail with drinks during the prize ceremony. Entries must be made online with payment at registration, closing on 5 August 2026 or when the field of 89 players is full. Cancellations before the entry deadline result in an automatic refund. Simultaneous start at 09:30. Buggy keys distributed at 09:10, with players taken to the course in a group. Starting orders published the day before at 14:00, based strictly on handicap (special requests not considered). Tee boxes: men from the yellow tees, ladies from the red tees. Results recorded by players via NextCaddy. Prize ceremony and gathering held at the clubhouse restaurant after all players complete their round.
