Seniors Open 4BBB

The Seniors Open 4BBB is a gents seniors open competition held at Ashbourne Golf Club, Wyaston Road, Ashbourne, Derbyshire, DE6 1NB on 14 August 2026. The event is played as a Four Ball Betterball (4BBB) pairs format, with two players per team competing together. Entry is available online via the BRS Golf booking platform. The visitor entry fee is £30.00 per pair (member rate is £22.50 per pair). Tee times start from 07:00 throughout the day. Players must hold a handicap of 28 or less (men) or 36 or less (ladies), or be able to play to an equivalent standard if without a formal handicap. Appropriate golf attire is required: denim jeans, jogging suits, track suits, shell suits, football shirts, t-shirts, vests, canvas shoes, training shoes, or sports shoes are not permitted. Recognised golf shoes with spikes or soft spikes must be worn. Fees are non-refundable, but if the course is closed (e.g. due to bad weather), an alternative date will be offered. Bookings are transferable — contact the Pro Shop on 01335 347960 if arrangements need to change. Failure to cancel results in loss of fees with no alternative date offered.
