Ludlow Golf Club, founded in 1889, is the oldest club and course in the Union of Shropshire and Herefordshire. The course was redesigned on its present site in 1927 by legendary architect James Braid and retains many of its original features.
Located in Bromfield, Shropshire, beneath Brown Clee Hill—the highest peak in Shropshire—the course sits within the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Built on naturally free-draining sand and gravel, it is often described as an inland links course and is recognized as one of the driest and most consistently playable courses in the region.
The course features gently undulating softly sprung fairways and greens renowned for their speed and trueness, offering permanent tees and greens year-round.
