Avon Valley Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole course with a par of 71/73, established in 1971 and operational since 1973. Originally beginning as a nine-hole layout, the course has evolved into a challenging, well-maintained championship layout through continuous improvements, including a new hole added in 1995, a clubhouse renovation in 2007, and an expanded practice area in 2009.
The course is characterized by hilly terrain with fast and subtle greens that demand strategic play. Variable breezes add to the challenge, requiring thoughtful course management. Located 30-35 minutes from Metro, the course operates seasonally from mid-April through late October or early November, depending on weather conditions.
Avon Valley is recognized for maintaining peak playing conditions alongside a welcoming atmosphere. The facility features a fully stocked pro shop, licensed dining area with a spacious deck, practice greens and mats, and rental options including power carts, clubs, and pull carts. The course is noted for attracting visitors and maintains a reputation for both quality grounds and friendly staff and membership.
