As the only genuine links course on the Fylde coast, it offers an authentic seaside golf experience with the characteristic undulating terrain and coastal setting typical of links golf. The club has a rich history, with records indicating golf has been played at Fleetwood since 1861, when officers from the local barracks enjoyed the links.
