The Junior Open takes place on Monday 17 August 2026 at Hockley Golf Club. The competition uses Stableford scoring with a 95% handicap allowance. There are two divisions based on handicap index: Scratch (Boys: Black Tees, Girls: Blue Tees) for Boys with a handicap index of 5.0 or below and Girls with 8.0 or below; and Handicap (Boys: Green Tees, Girls: Blue Tees) for Boys with a handicap index of 5.1 or above and Girls with 8.1 or above. Entry fee is £30.00 for visitors and £25.00 for Hockley Golf Club members. Catering is included: a burger and chips is provided after the round. A parental consent form must be signed by a parent or guardian closer to the date. Practice rounds are not included. Any child under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Online entry closes at midnight on 3 August 2026.
