The Junior Open takes place on Sunday 24 May 2026 at Holywell Golf Club, Brynford, Holywell, CH8 8LQ. Entry fee is £5 per person. A CDH (Central Database of Handicaps) number is required for all entries, meaning entrants must hold an official golf handicap. Holywell Golf Club is an 18-hole inland links-style course located on Brynford Common near the town of Holywell in North Wales, approximately one mile uphill from the town center. Established over a hundred years ago, the course sits at 800 feet above sea level, making it one of the highest courses in Wales. Its elevated position provides invigorating air, unpredictable breezes, and panoramic views toward the Clwydian Range and Snowdonia. The course features a limestone subsoil that combines with soft turf to create a fair and sporting test for golfers of all abilities without fatiguing uphill holes. Despite its compact layout, the course delivers 18 holes of genuine golfing challenge with considerable variety and interest throughout.
