The Erewash Kestrel 2026 Singles Open is a mixed individual strokeplay competition held on 6 September 2026 at Erewash Valley Golf Club. Entry is open to members of affiliated golf clubs. Players must hold a WHS handicap and have a minimum of 5 acceptable handicap scores recorded in the previous rolling 12 months to be eligible to win a prize. A WHS Lifetime Handicap (CDH) number is required to complete a booking. The visitor entry fee is £35.00 (members £25.00). Men play from the white tees, women from the red tees. Playing Handicap is 95% of Course Handicap; women receive +1 to Playing Handicap. There is no maximum score per hole. Prizes: The Kestrel Trophy and £150 for best gross score; Bryan Skelston Trophy and £150 for best nett score; Kestrel Quarry Challenge (complete in 4 shots or less) for a share of £250. Prizes are awarded to the top 5 best gross scores and top 5 best nett scores. Bookings close on 5 September 2026. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the competition date are eligible for a refund.
