Annual Ladies Open Pairs Better Ball competition at The Rolls of Monmouth Golf Club. 18 holes played off the Red Tees using Stableford scoring. Entry fee is £40.00 per person, including a Danish pastry on arrival. A valid WHS handicap is required with an 85% allowance of course handicap. Prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. The Rolls of Monmouth Golf Club

The Rolls of Monmouth Golf Club is a championship course set in the Welsh countryside near the border town of Monmouth, four miles west on the B4233 to Abergavenny. Opened in 1982, the course stretches 6,733 yards across parkland terrain interspersed with streams and lakes, offering a demanding test of golf with challenging greens featuring significant undulations. The course is situated at the confluence of the rivers Wye and Monnow, surrounded by hills with spectacular views of the Welsh landscape. It consistently ranks highly in golf publications and websites across the UK. The course is noted for its four short holes, which have earned particular praise from professional golfers including Greg Norman, who described them as "fantastic." The Rolls presents a fair but testing layout suitable for golfers of varying abilities, with the undulating greens representing a key characteristic. The course is complemented by on-site accommodation in three cottages, a golf studio for instruction, and practice facilities. The property also includes the historic Rolls Mansion, the former home of Charles Stewart Rolls, co-founder of Rolls-Royce, which is available for private functions.
