The 2026 North Hants Junior Open takes place on Tuesday 25th August 2026 at North Hants Golf Club (Fleet, Hampshire). This is an 18-hole scratch and handicap strokeplay competition (Medal format, 95% handicap allowance) played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by the R&A and the Local Rules of North Hants Golf Club. Open to boys and girls; all competitors must be 18 years of age or under on 1st January 2026. Maximum handicap index: 24.0 for boys, 30.0 for girls. The field is limited to 66 players; if entries exceed this number, players will be selected on handicap merit. Entry fee is £40.00 for visitors and £35.00 for NHGC members, both including catering. Entry closes Sunday 9th August 2026 (online signup closes 7:00pm on 11th August 2026). The start sheet will be published before Thursday 13th August; tee times will be between 8:30am and 10:30am on a two-tee start. This competition serves as a qualifier for the Justin Rose Daily Telegraph Tournament. Withdrawals after the start sheet is published are only refunded if a replacement becomes available. All ties will be decided on last 9, 6, 3, or 1 hole. The Committee's decision is final.

North Hants Golf Club, established in 1904, is located in Fleet, Hampshire. The course was opened by Princess Alexander of Teck as an ambitious project combining the ethos of a gentleman's club with American Country Club facilities, originally including lawn tennis courts and croquet lawns alongside the golf course. The club has achieved recognition as a prestigious championship venue, hosting England Golf's 2019 English Amateur Championships. Tournament Director Scott Alison of England Golf commended the standard of the golf course, hospitality, and professional staff support during the event. The course is characterized by its superbly presented condition and excellent clubhouse facilities. The setting includes views of the course from the seated terrace area. North Hants operates as a friendly and welcoming club that maintains its heritage and traditions while offering inclusive golf opportunities. The club hosts regular competitions for both men and ladies, along with societies and corporate golf days. The club provides comprehensive facilities including a pro shop, golf lessons, and various membership categories for different player levels.
