Colt, originally established as West Bromwich Golf Club in 1895 and relocated to its current Sandwell Park location in 1897. The course is widely acknowledged as a formidable test of golf, with particularly challenging greens noted for their speed and difficulty. It serves as a venue for visitors, societies, and corporate golf days alongside its traditional members club operations. The club hosts several notable competitions annually, including the West Midlands Amateur Strokeplay and Staffordshire Boys Open.
