Manor Golf Course

Reading ( Mohns Hill ), PA, United States

Established in 1917, and opened in 1928, Manor Golf Club is one of the oldest public courses in eastern Pennsylvania. Located conveniently between Philadelphia, Lancaster, and Allentown in Sinking Spring, the Manor Golf Club offers a true test of golf on a traditional championship-style golf course, where shot making takes precedence over length. The course was designed by the famous Scottish architect Alexander Findlay, who was known as the "father of American golf". The 18-hole Manor course features 5,425 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. The course's 18 holes are nestled in a mountainous countryside, where placing shots and challenging terrains takes precedence over pure length. The course is notable for having many blind shots, with hole number 1 being a straight uphill hole that sets the tone for the rest of the course. The Manor Golf Club takes great pride in its well-kept, player-friendly course conditions, with lush and well-paced greens and a great pace of play. Manor Golf Club has been honored by the Pennsylvania Golf Course Owners & Operators Association (PGO) as the 2025 Public Golf Course of the Year. The course hosts over 60 events annually and features an indoor/outdoor pavilion for tournaments and group outings.
