The Hōkūala Twilight Scramble is a 9-hole scramble event held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Participants gather their friends and play a shared-cart scramble on the Waiʻaleʻale front 9 mountain view holes, with the option to continue to the Ninini back 9 bonus ocean view holes if time permits. The event includes a shared cart, rental clubs, and golf instruction. Check-in is at 12:45pm, golf instruction begins at 1:00pm, and the shotgun start is at 2:00pm. Carts must be returned by 6:00pm. Adult entry fee is $229; juniors (ages 6-17) pay $129. Reservations can be made by calling the golf shop at 808.241.6000.

The Ocean Course at Hōkūala is an 18-hole championship course located on Kauai's south shore near Lihuе, Hawaii. Designed by Jack Nicklaus and completed following a comprehensive renovation, the course features the longest continuous stretch of oceanfront holes in Hawaii, spanning nearly a mile of unobstructed Pacific Ocean views through mango and guava groves to dramatic seaside cliffs. Bunkers underwent renovation in 2016 with sparkling white sand, further enhancing the visual presentation. The Ocean Course has received recognition as one of the world's most beautiful golf courses, earning accolades from Travel + Leisure Golf as the most underrated golf resort in Hawaii. The course is supported by the Hōkūala Teaching Center featuring PGA instructors and innovative training technology, and offers multiple tee options to accommodate varying skill levels and distances.
