The Lamberhurst Golf Club 2026 Junior Open (also known as The Telegraph Junior Championships Qualifier) takes place on Sunday 6th September 2026. Entry fee is £20.00, which includes lunch. The event is open to juniors under 18 years of age (as of 1st January 2026). Handicap index limits are 28 for boys and 36 for girls. The competition runs over 3 handicap divisions with prizes and trophies donated by Lamberhurst Golf Club. The first prize includes one year's Playing Associate Membership (terms and conditions apply). Entries must be submitted by emailing the completed entry form to golf@lamberhurstgolfclub.com or by post to Adrian Harris at Lamberhurst Golf Club, Church Road, Lamberhurst, Kent TN3 8DT. Payment can be made via BACS (reference: JUNIOR2026) or by card over the phone (01892 890591). Proof of handicap using CDH Number is required. A parental consent form is mandatory for entrants under 18.

Lamberhurst Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course situated near Tunbridge Wells in Kent, spanning both sides of the River Teise. The course measures 6,448 yards from the back tees and features spectacular views over the Kent and Sussex countryside. Despite its initial appearance, the layout presents a deceptive challenge, with subtle slopes and undulations that test golfers of all abilities. The course is characterized by fast greens and a demanding layout. The signature 12th hole stands out as a notable feature, requiring a carry over water and serving as a key test within the round. The setting combines natural beauty with strategic design, as golfers navigate the parkland terrain on both sides of the river. The course has achieved significant recognition, being ranked in the top 15 courses in Kent according to Golf World Top 100 Golf Courses.
