Old Course Ranfurly is an 18-hole championship moorland course located in rural Renfrewshire, near Bridge of Weir, approximately ten minutes from Glasgow Airport. Originally designed in 1889 by Willie Campbell and redesigned in 1920 by James Braid, the course exemplifies classic Scottish moorland architecture. Measuring just over 6,000 yards, it presents a challenging layout carved through natural heath and expansive moorland.
The course offers a demanding test suitable for golfers of all abilities, requiring skill and strategic play across three centuries of consistent design. Set against a scenic backdrop featuring views of Ben Lomond and the Campsie Fells, the terrain combines natural growth and heath to create distinctive playing characteristics.
