Finnish Thunder Open by Taylormade

The Finnish Thunder Open by Taylormade is the third stage of the Eke Golf Grand Slam tournament series. The competition is open to all players. Format: Two-person Special Best Ball (not a scramble) with 80% of each player's slope handicap. Both players tee off, then the team chooses which ball to continue with, playing both balls to the hole with the better score per hole counting. Teams may freely choose which player plays their ball first on each hole. Handicap allowance is 80% of each player's own slope. In the event of a tie, the team with the lower tournament handicap wins; if still tied, results are determined by the last hole, then the last three holes, then the last six holes, and finally the last nine holes, reviewed from hole 18 backwards regardless of teeing position. Points are accumulated across the Grand Slam stages for a final Order of Merit ranking (1st: 100pts, 2nd: 80pts, 3rd: 50pts, 4th: 40pts, 5th: 30pts, participation: 20pts).
