The 4th Annual Davids Chair Golf Tournament is a charity event benefiting David's Chair, a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Held at Evergreen Golf Course in Mt. Angel, Oregon, on Friday, August 21, 2026, with an 8 am shotgun start. The tournament requires 4-person teams and offers multiple sponsorship levels: Tee Box Only ($250), Team Only ($600), Silver ($750), and Banner ($1,200). Each team level includes a tee box sign and a 4-person team entry. The event features a hole-in-one challenge, putting challenge, long drive competition (separate categories for men and women), closest to the hole contest, and a raffle. Lunch is provided at 11:30 am. Winners are determined based on both gross and net scores to give all players a chance to win. Registration is handled online through the tournament website. The event is open to all players — not restricted to club members.

Evergreen Golf Course is a 9-hole course located in Mt. Angel, Oregon, between Salem and Portland in the North Willamette Valley. The straightforward layout spans 3,000 yards and features ponds, sand traps, and strategically placed evergreen trees. The course offers scenic views of surrounding farmland and hills that change seasonally, providing an appealing backdrop for play. Designed to be accessible and walkable, the course accommodates golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced players. Both cart and pull cart rentals are available. Key characteristics include its well-maintained conditions and friendly atmosphere, positioning it as an affordable option for the region. The course supports an active club structure, including Ladies Club participation through the EWGA, a Men's Club, and summer league play. Tournament facilities can accommodate groups of 10 to 90 players. The remodeled clubhouse serves as a multipurpose venue, hosting tournaments, banquets, and special events for up to 100 guests. The facility also features a pro shop offering equipment, apparel, and club re-gripping services.
