The Rangatira Scramble is a team golf competition held at Rangatira Golf Club in Hunterville. The 2026 event takes place on Saturday 8 August with an 11:00 am shotgun start for 18 holes. The format is Ambrose (scramble) with teams of three players. Teams may be mixed (men and women). All players must hold an official NZ Golf Handicap, with a maximum men's handicap index of 28.0 and a maximum ladies' handicap index of 36.0. No more than one single indexed handicap player is allowed per team. The entry fee is $150 per team, payable online to secure entry. An evening meal is included.
