The HGC Competition is a low-threshold, sporty competition for golfers of all levels, designed to bring players from different HGC golf parks together and introduce them to other courses within the Hollandsche Golfclub. The competition encourages regular play, interaction, and club spirit across the parks. Play dates include Friday 4 September at Golfpark De Berendonck, Monday 14 September at Golfpark De Loonsche Duynen, Sunday 20 September at Golfpark Gendersteyn, Wednesday 30 September at Golfpark Almkreek, and Friday 9 October at Golfpark De Haverleij. Maximum handicap: 36. Reception from 11:00 with coffee, tea, and snacks. Start time: 12:00. Entry fee: €10 per competition, including coffee or tea with a snack. Registration is via an online form on the Hollandsche Golfclub website.

The 18-hole course presents a balanced challenge suitable for both beginners and experienced golfers, incorporating water hazards and bunkers throughout the layout. The par-3 course offers an accessible alternative for developing players and those focused on improving their short game, and notably allows players without a formal handicap or GVB membership to participate. The course features qualifying capabilities on the par-3 layout, enabling golfers to work toward handicap improvements. Golfpark De Haverleij is part of the larger Hollandsche Golfclub network and provides comprehensive facilities including an indoor driving range with MyNetPay app payment options, a golf school offering professional instruction for all levels, and course management tools such as digital scorecards and handicap tables. The venue also accommodates non-golf activities with meeting spaces and a brasserie.
