The III Bares Golf Tournament is an individual stableford competition held at La Hacienda Links Golf Resort on the Links Course. The shotgun start is at 9:30 AM local time (Europe/Madrid). The entry fee is €160, with special rates available for members. The fee includes the green fee, a shared buggy, a welcome gift, a refreshment station at the halfway house, a cocktail reception, an awards ceremony, and a prize draw. The tournament features both scratch and handicap categories, with prizes for the champion and runner-up in each category, a scratch prize, four closest-to-the-pin prizes, a longest drive prize, and a 'Beat the Pro' prize. The top five finishers qualify for the Grand Final at RCG La Moraleja. Entries are managed online through GolfDirecto, with a maximum of 80 places available. The event is open to the public.

La Hacienda Links Golf Resort

La Hacienda Links Golf Resort is a 36-hole golf complex located in San Roque, Cádiz, in the westernmost stretch of the Costa del Sol near Sotogrande. Formerly known as Alcaidesa Golf, the resort comprises two distinct 18-hole courses: the Links and the Heathland. The Links Course, originally designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark and opened in 1992, is widely regarded as the only true links-style course in southern Spain. It plays to a par of 72 and runs across coastal terrain descending toward an almost two-kilometre beach frontage, with wide fairways, large strategically placed bunkers, double greens, and gentle slopes toward the sea. The course was substantially redesigned in 2021 by Kurtis Bowman, incorporating one of the largest greens in Spain. Wind off the Mediterranean is a consistent factor. The par-5 5th hole, with out-of-bounds left and a ravine guarding the green, is considered the signature hole and offers panoramic views of Gibraltar and the North African coast. The Links Course won Best Golf Course in Spain at the 2023 World Golf Awards. The Heathland Course, designed by Dave Thomas and opened in 2007, plays to a par of 72 and stretches to 6,374 metres from the back tees. It occupies more elevated, inland terrain characterised by Andalusian hills, with several holes routed through a valley incorporating water hazards. The par-3 14th is considered its standout hole. The resort holds European Tour Destination status.
