The Grange & Kooyonga Senior Open Amateur is a 36-hole strokeplay competition held across two venues: The Grange Golf Club on Thursday 27 August 2026 (PM start) and Kooyonga Golf Club on Friday 28 August 2026 (AM start). The event is open to male amateurs aged 55 years or older and female amateurs aged 50 years or older, with a Golf Australia handicap (or overseas equivalent) of up to 10.1 for men and 19.6 for women. The field is strictly limited to 92 players (64 men and 28 women), with a handicap ballot applied if entries exceed this limit. Play is from the blue tees for men and red tees for women. The entry fee is $280 AUD for non-members (visitors) or $100 AUD for members of The Grange and/or Kooyonga Golf Clubs, which includes a light meal after golf on the final day. Prizes are awarded to Senior Open Champion and Runner-Up (Gross and Net) for both Men and Women, Super Senior (65 & over) Champion and Runner-Up (Gross and Net) for Men, and First and Second 18 Holes Winners (Gross and Net) for both Men and Women, plus a Nearest the Pins competition. Entries close on Monday 24 August 2026 at 5:00 PM. This is a national ranking event controlled by The Grange Golf Club Inc and Kooyonga Golf Club Inc Match Sub-Committees.
