The 2026 Men's Winter Shoot Out is an individual men's competition held at Waihi Golf Club. The event runs as a multi-round challenge with qualifying rounds taking place on Thursdays and Saturdays (club days) from Thursday 2nd April 2026 through to the final on Sunday 18th October 2026. Entry fee is $20 plus $2 per qualifying round. Players compete individually, with the best 3 net scores counting towards the standings. The top 19 qualifiers advance to the final on 18th October 2026. Entrants can enter on the day by registering with the starter. This is a men's competition open to visiting golfers.

The course accommodates both walking players and those using electric carts or trundlers, and utilizes a Dotgolf scoring system for accurate handicap registration. The club serves as both a golfing venue and function facility for the local community.
