Timaru Golf Club's annual Spring Tournament, held over two days. Saturday features a Men's and Women's Pairs competition played as 4BBB (Better Ball) Net Stableford. Sunday features a Combined Net competition. Entry is open to visiting golfers. The entry fee is $160.00 per team (two players). Entries must be submitted online via the club's Google Form and confirmed upon payment of the entry fee to the club's bank account. NZ Golf number and partner details are required for entry.

Lake Rotoiti Golf Course

Lake Rotoiti Golf Course is a 9-hole facility located at 843 State Highway 30 in Tikitere, near Lake Rotoiti. The course plays to a par of 70 when both nines are combined, with a total distance of 5,644 yards. The front nine measures 2,884 yards at par 35, while the back nine covers 2,760 yards, also at par 35. The course features multiple tee options to accommodate different skill levels. The White tees have a course rating of 68.7 with a slope of 114, the Blue tees rate at 70.1 with a slope of 114, and the Gold tees rate at 64.3 with a slope of 101. The layout includes a mix of par 3s, par 4s, and par 5s across both nines, with holes ranging from 134 yards to 467 yards. Located in the Bay of Plenty region near the geothermal area of Rotorua, the course offers golf in a scenic lakeside setting. The facility is managed by Barry Mabey and currently has a small membership base.
