Brancepeth Castle Golf Club

Durham, County Durham, England

Brancepeth Castle Golf Club is a golf course in Durham, England, designed by the renowned architect Harry Colt in 1924. The course is laid out across the grounds of Brancepeth Castle's historic Deer Park, with the castle's former stables and coach house converted into the clubhouse. Harry Colt was a world-famous designer responsible for over 300 courses globally, including prestigious venues such as Moor Park, Royal Lytham & St. Annes, and Wentworth. The setting combines the challenging design principles Colt was known for with the distinctive landscape of the castle estate. The course retains its character as a classic early 20th-century design set within historic parkland surroundings.
