Meru Valley Golf & Country Club hosts the Perak Qualifying Round of the Perodua National Amateur Golf Series (PNAGS) 2026 on Thursday, 30 July 2026. This is one of the most anticipated amateur golf events on the Malaysian calendar. Amateur golfers from across Perak are invited to compete for a place in the National Final at Templer Park Country & Golf Club, and potentially a shot at the WAGC 2026 World Final at Desaru Coast. Registration is open via the official WAGC Qualifier app (available for iOS and Android). This is an individual strokeplay qualifying round open to all amateur golfers.

Meru Valley Golf Course is a 27-hole championship course located in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia, and is recognized as the only five-star golf course in the state. The course is divided into three distinctive nine-hole tracks: the Valley, Waterfall, and River, each offering different design characteristics and levels of challenge. The layout accommodates golfers of all skill levels, with three signature holes integrated throughout the routing. The course features comprehensive practice facilities including a two-tier driving range with covered bays, along with dedicated chipping, pitching, bunker practice areas, and putting greens. Set within the Meru Valley Resort grounds, the course benefits from the natural landscape of the region around Bukit Meru.
