Turtle Ace Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course located in Kameyama City, Mie Prefecture, Japan. Designed by Shozo Kosasaba and constructed by Yamato Danchi Co., Ltd., the facility opened on November 8, 1992. The course spans approximately 1.058 million square meters of green hilly terrain, featuring Pennington bentgrass greens. It is situated near the Kameyama Station on the JR Kansai Main Line, offering easy access from the Meishin Expressway. The layout is characterized by strategic demands and significant water hazards. The front nine features a demanding opening hole, a 384-yard par-4 that requires a precise drive over a 235-yard bunker. The sixth hole presents a 359-yard par-4 with a large water hazard guarding the front of the green, while the ninth hole is a 564-yard par-5 that challenges players to avoid bunkers and water on the second shot. The back nine introduces a 214-yard par-3 at the 15th, which plays to a two-tiered green and is flanked by out-of-bounds areas. The 16th hole, a 514-yard par-5, offers a reachable second shot but requires careful navigation around a water hazard on the left side of the fairway. Water is a critical factor throughout the round, particularly on the 17th and 18th holes, which are separated by a pond. The 17th is a 379-yard par-4 with water guarding the right side, while the 18th is a 412-yard par-4 with a water hazard on the left. The course also features out-of-bounds zones on several holes, including the third, fifth, seventh, tenth, eleventh, thirteenth, and fifteenth, requiring disciplined shot placement. Special tee areas are provided for players who hit their drive out of bounds, allowing them to continue play from the fairway. The course yardage varies by tee, with the back tees measuring 3,900 yards for the front nine and 3,398 yards for the back nine.
