The W.E. Tom Shield Qualifier is a men's pairs handicap stableford competition held at Romsey Golf Course. The qualifying round takes place on Saturdays in August. For the 2026 season, the qualifier is scheduled for Saturday, 1 August 2026. The top four pairs from the qualifying round advance to the semi-finals and final rounds. Entry is open to visitors; however, availability for Saturday club competitions is limited between 10:30 am and 3:30 pm, and players must phone to check availability. The competition fee is $10.00. Green fees for non-members are $15.00 for adults and $5.00 for juniors.
