The Men's Golf Association (MGA) is a weekly golf league for men held every Wednesday at 9:00 AM shotgun start at Point Venture Golf Club. The event runs all year long. The entry fee is $30 annual dues plus $10 per week (plus cart and green fee). The league features varying formats throughout the year, including Individual Net Stableford, ABCD Scramble, and other variations. Handicaps are applied at 90% or 100% depending on the specific week's format. Cash prizes and optional skins games are available. The event is open to any male golfer.

Point Venture Golf Club is a 9-hole course located on a peninsula on the north shore of Lake Travis in central Texas. Designed in 1972 by three-time Masters Champion Jimmy Demaret, the course is carved from the distinctive Hill Country landscape of rocks and cedar trees. The layout features tight fairways and small, undulated greens that challenge skilled players while remaining accessible to beginners. Four of the nine holes offer scenic views of Lake Travis. The course is notably free of water hazards and bunkers, distinguishing it from typical golf layouts. Point Venture has received recognition from the Dallas Morning News as "one of the best 9-hole courses in Texas" and from the Austin Business Journal for being among the best golf courses in the Austin area. It has also been named a top 10 value course in the United States by Golf Advisor. The setting provides a quieter Hill Country golf experience away from Austin's crowds while maintaining proximity to the region.
