The U.S. Kids Venice Open is an international junior golf tournament for players aged 6-18, organized by U.S. Kids Golf with the patronage of the Italian Golf Federation. The 2026 edition runs from 13 to 15 August at Golf della Montecchia (one of three rotating venues alongside Golf Frassanelle and Terme di Galzignano). The event features 10 age categories (6-7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15-18 years) and is recognized for national handicap, national ranking, and Italian Order of Merit purposes. It is also recognized by the Junior Golf Scoreboard for world ranking. Players compete individually by age category, with prizes awarded to the top 5 in each category. Winners qualify automatically for the 2026 World and European Championships (USA and Scotland). The tournament attracts hundreds of young golfers from around 30-40 nations. The event has the characteristics of a true Open competition and involves families and participants, with younger players using specially created forward tees (9 holes) while older players complete 18 holes.

Golf Club della Montecchia is a 27-hole championship course located in Selvazzano Dentro, near Padua, Italy, positioned adjacent to the Colli Euganei Regional Park and close to the thermal spas of Abano and Montegrotto. Designed by renowned English architect Tom Macauley, the course combines Anglo-Saxon design principles with sensitivity to environmental and landscape considerations. Founded in 1988, the course is set on historic grounds that once belonged to the Conti Emo Capodilista family, encompassing an ancient castle, Renaissance villa, and renowned wine estate. The technically demanding layout is characterized by high championship standards. The club has established itself as a premier Italian golf destination, hosting multiple editions of Challenge Tour and Alps Tour events, including the Venice Open and Junior International Open tournaments. The facility features a modern Performance Center with comprehensive coaching from eight professionals, offering integrated performance analysis. The club prioritizes environmental stewardship, serving as a buffer zone between the regional park and surrounding development. Three course routing options (White, Red, and Green) accommodate varying skill levels, while the academy provides instruction from beginners to advanced players.
