J Classic GC is a 7,221-yard, par-72 championship course located in Awa City, Tokushima Prefecture, Japan. Designed by renowned golfer Jumbo Ozaki, the layout is characterized by a flat, straightforward exterior that belies the strategic complexity required to navigate it. The course is built on a concept of "attacking" golf, demanding that players make constant decisions on how to approach each hole based on their own skill sets and risk tolerance. The course features a blend of "strategic," "reward," and "penalty" patterns, creating a diverse range of difficulty levels. While the terrain is fundamentally flat, the design ensures that landing areas are clearly visible, allowing players to execute their shots with precision. The layout includes a variety of hazards, including sand bunkers, water hazards, and grass bunkers, which test the accuracy and strategy of the golfer from the moment they tee off.
