Venue

Odake Short Course

福岡県, Japan

Located in the Higashi-ku ward of Fukuoka City, the Odake Short Course is a nine-hole, par-3 facility designed for casual play and accessibility. The course spans distances between 97 and 162 yards, offering a layout that accommodates everyone from beginners to advanced players. It operates on a free-start system that allows individual golfers to play without prior reservations, supported by the availability of rental clubs, shoes, and bags. The setting is defined by its coastal environment, described as a seaside course where wind plays a significant role in the playing conditions. While most holes fall within the 100 to 170-yard range, the local wind conditions can be strong enough to require over 200 yards of distance on certain holes. This characteristic adds a layer of difficulty that challenges players to adjust their club selection and strategy based on the weather. The course layout features a variety of yardages, with the longest hole reaching 162 yards and the shortest measuring just 97 yards. The design incorporates these varying lengths to provide a diverse experience within a compact nine-hole structure. The facility is part of the Saitozaki Development Group, which also manages the nearby Saitozaki Seaside Country Club, integrating the short course into a broader golfing ecosystem in the region.
