Venue

Golf du Rochat

Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, France

Located in the Haut-Jura region of France, Golf du Rochat is an 18-hole course situated within the station of Les Rousses at an altitude of 1100 meters. The course is positioned approximately 45 minutes from the Swiss cities of Geneva and Lausanne, nestled within the Parc naturel du Haut-Jura. The layout is designed to respect the surrounding landscape and environment, integrating the natural topography of the Jura massif. The club facilities are housed in a typical Haut-Jura farmhouse, which serves as the clubhouse and provides dining, a pro-shop, and reception services. The restaurant is noted for its regional specialties and is located at the heart of the golf course, offering views of the park. The setting also places the course near cross-country ski tracks during the winter months. Recent developments at the course include the construction of a new putting green and new tees for the 7th hole, which are accessed past the covered practice area. The club organizes various competitions throughout the year, including the Coupe La Bonbonnière, a team event format where the best ball from the first shot determines the starting position for the remainder of the hole. The course also features specific tee times for members with a handicap index on Fridays.
