The setting includes abundant wildlife, contributing to a relaxed, nature-oriented playing environment. The facility is managed by Stacy Tatrow, with Trevor Booth serving as the Garden Superintendent. The course is noted for having some of the fastest greens in the Upper Peninsula, paired with soft fairways that influence the difficulty and pace of play. Players can utilize electric or gas carts, rent clubs, or opt for pull carts to walk the course. Amenities extend beyond the fairways, with a clubhouse staff that provides snacks, beer, and beverages. The location offers convenient access to local attractions, including the Manistique boardwalk, the city's iconic lighthouse, and nearby natural landmarks such as Big Springs and Pictured Rocks.
