Tokewari Day is a recurring promotional event held at Toyota Country Club. On this day, visitors can play golf at a discounted rate compared to standard visitor fees. The event is open to all golfers (members and visitors). Entry is made by phone reservation through the club's dedicated booking line (0565-80-3731). Reservations open 3 months in advance at 9:00 AM. The club operates on a membership system; direct bookings by visitors are not accepted — visitors must be booked by a member or through a member company with an anonymous membership right. Standard visitor fees apply (weekday 7,014 JPY, weekend/holiday 15,200 JPY for self-play with 4 bags; caddie fee +3,500 JPY). Cancellation fees apply from 3 days before the play date (excluding the play date itself). This is a general promotional day rather than a formal competition with prizes or structured scoring.

Toyota Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 golf course located in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. Situated just five minutes from the Kuragarike Smart Interchange, the course is set within the Aichi Kogen National Park, adjacent to the Kuragarike Green Space. The layout is characterized as a hilly course spread across the gentle slopes surrounding the Kuragarike pond area, with fairways covered by red pine forests. The course was designed by Takeshi Hasegawa and officially opened on November 11, 1964. The course features Bentgrass greens and has a course rating of 72.6. While the total yardage from the back tees is 6,403 yards, the design gives an overall impression of shorter distances. However, the difficulty is considered high due to subtle undulations on the greens and significant fairway contours. The front nine is described as a varied layout that rewards strategic play, while the back nine offers holes where players can enjoy the natural surroundings. Each hole presents unique characteristics, requiring careful navigation. The first hole is a par-4 with a wide fairway that slopes to the right, demanding attention to avoid out-of-bounds on the right side. The second hole is a par-5 dogleg left, recommended for driving contests, where players must aim for a kusunoki tree and prioritize direction on the second shot. The seventh hole is a demanding par-3 that requires a carry over a valley, with the left side being the safer target. The eighth hole, another par-5, features a large guard bunker in front of the green, adding to the challenge. The course includes various tee boxes for regular, ladies, and driving contest players, with yardages varying significantly by tee. The handicap distribution highlights specific challenges, such as the fifth hole on the front nine and the fourteenth hole on the back nine being among the most difficult. The club maintains a long history, having been established over 60 years ago, and continues to offer a course where every hole has distinct features, ensuring that players cannot afford to be careless even after reaching the green.
