Doubles League 5th Round

The 5th round of the Liga Dobles (Doubles League) at Club de Golf Bonalba in Mutxamel, Alicante. This is a fourball stableford competition where each player in a pair plays their own ball, with the better score counting on each hole. Each player receives 85% of their playing handicap, rounded, with a 20% score bonus. The league consists of 5 independent rounds held throughout August 2026, with each round having its own classification and prizes. Players can change partners between rounds. Two categories are established each round based on the combined playing handicap of the pair, with approximately 50% of players in each category. To run a category, at least 10 pairs must start. Entry fee is €30 for Bonalba members, €40 for Tarjeta Amigos card holders, and €50 for visitors. The event requires players to hold a valid golf license and current handicap. Prize-giving takes place on 30 August 2026 after the final round. The top two pairs in each category receive prizes for each round, and the top two individuals in the overall classification (based on the best 3 of 5 rounds) receive final classification prizes. Special non-cumulative prizes are also awarded for the Best Senior and Best Lady in the overall classification. Entries close the Friday before each round. Starting times are published the evening before each round.
