Albertslund Golfklub

Region Hovedstaden, Denmark

Albertslund Golfklub is a 9-hole golf course located in Albertslund, near Copenhagen, Denmark. The course is member-owned and member-operated, having joined the Danish Golf Union (DGU) as member number 111 on October 1, 1994. The layout consists of nine holes designed to accommodate players of varying skill levels and time constraints, allowing rounds to be completed more quickly than traditional 18-hole courses. The course features a driving range, putting green, and practice area for pitch shots. The terrain is characterized by well-maintained greens, clipped fairways, and challenging rough areas with small but precisely maintained greens. Despite its modest length, the course presents significant strategic challenges, requiring thoughtful play rather than relying on long drives. Notable features include finicky approach shots and tight greens that demand precision. The course is described as well-maintained, with particular praise for its greenkeeping standards. Albertslund Golfklub fosters an active club culture with organized groups including men's, women's, and seniors' clubs, youth programs, club tournaments, and regional golf competitions. The clubhouse includes a terrace serving as a social hub for members, and the facility emphasizes affordability compared to other clubs while maintaining high course conditions.
