The MacNean House & Restaurant Open Series is a series of individual stableford competitions held at Blacklion Golf Club on bank holidays throughout 2026. The event is open to both members and visitors (non-members). Format: 18 holes, single stableford, open to Gents and Ladies with re-entry allowed. Entry fees are €10 for members and €25 for non-members (normal green fee €30). Visitors can book tee times via the club's online visitor booking system and select 'Open Competitions'. Qualifying events are held on: 6 April (Easter Monday), 4 May (May Day), 25 May (Spring Bank Holiday NI), 1 June (June Bank Holiday IE), 13 July (Bank Holiday NI), 3 August (August Bank Holiday IE), and 31 August (Summer Bank Holiday NI). Top finishers (1st-4th place) in each qualifier receive prizes including MacNean House dining vouchers and automatic qualification for the Grand Final on Sunday 6 September 2026. The Grand Final features overnight stay and dinner prizes for the series champion, with additional prizes for non-qualifiers (those who have not qualified through top finishes but hold at least 2 cards from bank holiday qualifiers).

A scenic 9-hole parkland course, Blacklion Golf Club stretches to 5,839 metres (6,385 yards) and is played from a variety of tees and greens.
