Challenge Bowl

The Challenge Bowl is a ladies-only team competition held at Yarra Yarra Golf Club on Monday 17 August 2026. The event consists of two concurrent competitions: Event 1 is a Team Handicap 18-hole Stableford Aggregate where teams of three players compete, with team scores being the stableford aggregate of the three team members. Eligible substitute players are accepted, and the winning team's club name is engraved on the Club Challenge Bowl. Each member of the winning team receives a trophy. Event 2 is an Individual 18-hole Stableford Handicap competition, automatically entered for each team member, with trophies for best Silver Division (handicap 0-18) and Bronze Division (handicap 19 and over). Entry fee is $240.00 per team, which includes lunch served in the Dining Room. Golf Australia handicap limit is not exceeding 26 at time of play. Entries must be booked online no later than Wednesday 5 August 2026 or when the field reaches capacity. Shotgun start at 8:30am with registration from 7:30am. Spiked golf shoes are not permitted in the Dining Room. Ties in the Challenge Bowl are decided using the countback method (last 9, then 6, then 3, then 1 hole). GPS devices are permitted for measuring distance only. The event is open to all women members of clubs registered with Golf Australia and/or who have an official handicap not exceeding 26.0.
