The Women's Open Texas Scramble takes place on Tuesday 4 August 2026 at Prestonfield Golf Club, Edinburgh. This is a ladies' open team event played in a Texas Scramble format (3-person teams) with Tex-Mex scoring. Handicap allowance is 30%/20%/10% from lowest to highest playing handicap. Women with a handicap higher than 36 can play but will be entered at a 36 handicap. Entry fee is £45.00 per team. Online entry closes at 6:00 pm on 30 July 2026. Buggy usage requires advance approval from the competition organiser in line with the club's motorised transport policy. This is a Tex-Mex competition open to ladies from affiliated golf clubs.
