An open 18-hole double Paria (betterball) strokeplay competition open to both men and women. Visitors are welcome to enter individually or as a pair; participants will be matched if entering alone. The event includes lunch and a Hokkaido melon gift. Entry fees are ¥16,094 for members and ¥20,450 for visitors, which include the round, cart, caddie, lunch, and entry fee. A golf promotion fee of ¥50 is charged separately. The maximum handicap for entry is 40. Men play from the white (front) or blue (regular) tees; women play from the red (ladies) tees. Prizes consist of Hokkaido regional products. There is no prize ceremony on the day; prizes for winners are delivered directly to their homes afterward. Due to direct delivery of melons from Hokkaido, entries are limited to the first 20 pairs. Entry is by phone at 0797-61-0112.

Located in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture, Yomiuri Country Club is a 7,236-yard, par-72 championship course set within a hilly landscape of pine forests. Originally designed by the renowned architect Eiji Ueda, the course was extensively renovated in 2008 under the direction of designer Eiichi Nagato and supervisor Norio Suzuki. The redesign introduced larger, more imposing greens and adjusted the terrain's elevation changes to create a layout that balances strategic demands with playability. The course features a variety of hole lengths, including a demanding 623-yard par-5 17th hole and a short 193-yard par-3 17th on the back nine, offering distinct challenges for different skill levels. Course ratings vary significantly by tee, with the Champion tees playing at 75.0 and the Ladies tees at 66.4, allowing the course to accommodate a wide range of handicaps. The routing utilizes the natural topography, with holes separated by dense pine groves that provide a sense of privacy and isolation. Yomiuri Country Club has a rich history of hosting professional tournaments, most notably the Yomiuri Open, which was held at the facility from 1979 to 2006. The event, which underwent various sponsorship changes including the Yomiuri Sapporo Beer Open and the Mandom Lucido Yomiuri Open, attracted top international and domestic talent such as Isao Aoki, Hsieh Shih-yang, and Shigeki Kobayashi. The course also hosted the Japan Series from 1963 to 1990, serving as a frequent venue for decisive moments in Japanese golf history.
