The Cristal Cup 2026 is a weekly individual stableford competition held every Wednesday at Golf Club Petersberg in Nova PONENTE (BZ), South Tyrol, Italy. The event on August 26, 2026 runs from 12:00 to 14:00. Tee times are available between 12:00 and 14:00; before 12:00 and after 14:00 players may play freely. Registration should ideally be made by Tuesday evening, though Wednesday morning registrations are also accepted (though time and partner preferences cannot always be accommodated). The competition is open to all golfers including visitors and non-members. Entry fee is 90 EUR for guests (including green-fee), 79 EUR for members of South Tyrolean golf clubs (including green-fee), and 15 EUR for club members. The tournament is valid for handicap changes. Located in Nova PONENTE in South Tyrol, Golf Club Petersberg sits at an altitude of approximately 1,250 meters above sea level. The 18-hole course, which carries a par of 71, was designed by Italian golf architect Marco Croze. The layout is set within a natural landscape characterized by small groves of old trees and picturesque ponds, offering views of the surrounding mountains. The course is open from mid-April to mid-November. The facility holds a significant place in the region's golfing history as the first 18-hole golf course in South Tyrol. Originally established as a nine-hole course in 1989, the second nine holes were added and opened in August 1993. The course's par was increased from 67 to 71 in 2001. It maintains a course rating of 70.4 with a Slope Rating of 127 for men, and a course rating of 70.8 with a Slope Rating of 128 for women. A defining feature of the course is the 17th hole, which presents a unique challenge. This hole requires a shot from an elevated tee to a green positioned behind an old mill pond that acts as a water hazard. The course also features a practice area and a clubhouse with a restaurant and bar. The club has hosted numerous tournaments since its inception, including the first tournament held in August 1989 on the initial nine holes.
