Shaganappi Point Golf Course - 18 Holes

Alberta, Canada

Shaganappi Point Golf Course is an 18-hole facility located at 1200 26 Street S.W. in central Calgary, situated just off Bow Trail SW. Managed by the City of Calgary as part of the municipal golf program, the course offers a traditional layout with skyline views, designed to provide a social playing environment within the urban setting. The 18-hole course plays to a par of 72, with yardages varying by tee color. For the Black tees, the front nine measures 2,712 yards with a par of 36, including holes ranging from 137 yards on the fifth to 507 yards on the seventh. The Blue tees offer a 2,525-yard front nine, while the White and Green tees provide shorter options for higher handicappers, with the Green tees measuring 2,129 yards for the front nine. In addition to the full 18-hole course, the venue features a separate 9-hole "Valley 9" course, which is 2,169 yards in length with a par of 32, catering to players seeking a quicker round. The course is open for play, with tee times released four days in advance at 7 a.m. A key feature of the course is its proximity to the city, with the clubhouse offering a licensed snack bar and equipment rentals. The facility also includes a 44-stall driving range located on 26th Street, along with a practice green for putting skills. The course amenities include a clubhouse with basic golf supplies for purchase, such as gloves, balls, tees, and sunscreen.
