Asa Golf Club is a 18-hole, par 72 course located in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan, designed by (株)オークエンジニアーズ with supervision by Sadatachi Ohashi. The course is situated in a location offering views of the Seto Inland Sea, with elevated holes providing vistas of the Suo Nada Sea and the Kanmon Strait. The layout is characterized by minimal elevation changes, creating a flat and easy-to-play environment that allows for open drives and a rhythmic pace. The course is divided into an out and in nine, each featuring a mix of par 4, par 5, and par 3 holes. Notable features include the 5th hole, a par 4 where the second shot must clear a water hazard, and the 11th hole, a par 3 that also requires a carry over water. The 8th hole is described as a standout short hole with excellent location views. The 16th hole presents a unique challenge with a two-tiered green on a long par 3. The course is designed to accommodate players from beginners to single-digit handicappers, offering strategic options while maintaining a sense of freedom in shot-making. The total yardage from the full back tees is 6,864 yards, with the out nine measuring 3,396 yards and the in nine 3,468 yards. Regular tees offer a total of 6,201 yards. The course includes a practice facility and adheres to local rules regarding out-of-bounds and lateral water hazards, which are marked with white and red stakes respectively. The design emphasizes a relaxed atmosphere, allowing golfers to enjoy the natural surroundings and the expansive views characteristic of the Seto Inland Sea region.
