Gamo Golf Club is located in Hino District, Shiga Prefecture, Japan, situated within the expansive hills and forests of the Gamono region. The course is distinguished by its layout of three distinct 18-hole courses: the Hira Course, the Ibuki Course, and the Suzuka Course. This multi-course configuration allows for varied playing experiences, with each layout designed to take advantage of the natural topography and vegetation of the area. The Hira Course is characterized by a dynamic and flat design that encourages aggressive play. Its layout is engineered to stimulate a player's competitive spirit through open, straightforward challenges. In contrast, the Ibuki Course integrates natural trees and ponds into its design, placing bunkers strategically to maintain a fresh and engaging feel throughout the round. The Suzuka Course offers a different experience, with each hole completely separated from the others, providing a highly individualized and distinctive character to every hole. The club is located in Hino Town, accessible via the Gamō Smart Interchange on the Meishin Expressway, approximately 20 minutes away. The facility includes a clubhouse, restaurant, practice range, and an on-site hotel known as Gamono no Sato. The course has hosted regional events, including the 4th Shiga Prefecture Industrial Golf Association Championship, and operates an open-day schedule featuring various competitions and senior days throughout the summer months.
