The National Gourmet Festival Open is an individual stableford competition held at Shin Takarazuka Country Club. Open to all golfers — visitors and non-members are welcome to enter. Entry is accepted on an individual basis; players may enter as a single golfer, and two- or three-balls will be combined as a side. The entry fee is 2,500 yen (excluding tax), which includes a participation prize and a limited lunch. A separate green fee is required. The competition is played as a W Peria (double Par) individual stableford format, with scoring ranked by handicap (highest handicap first) and then by age. Tee assignments: men play from the white tees, women from the red tees, and players aged 70 and over from the gold tees. Local rules include a 6-inch place, one grip permitted, and putting allowed. Prizes are awarded for various flight categories based on half-round scoring. Entry must be made by phone.

Shin Takarazuka Country Club is a 18-hole, par 72 golf course located in the Hyogo Prefecture of Japan, situated near the postal code 669-1241. The course is characterized by a landscape dominated by pine, cedar, and cypress trees, with fairways separated by pine forests. The terrain is generally flat, which facilitates score management for golfers. The front nine is played on a relatively flat to slightly elevated terrain, with only two holes featuring a mild uphill start. The remainder of the front nine is either flat or features downhill shots, contributing to a straightforward layout. The back nine, while shorter in total distance than the front, presents a greater challenge regarding accuracy. The fairways on the inward half exhibit varied undulations, making tee shot placement critical and difficult to judge. The course features a distinctive par-5 15th hole, which measures 665 yards from the back tees, 540 yards from the regular tees, and 492 yards from the front tees. This long par-5 serves as a significant scoring opportunity and a strategic test. Other notable distances include the 515-yard par-5 18th from the back tees and the 515-yard par-5 8th on the front nine. The par-3 holes are notably short, with the 6th hole measuring only 145 yards from the back tees and the 11th hole measuring 183 yards, allowing for aggressive play on these shorter par-3s. Play is available on various days with specific pricing structures, including discounted rates on Mondays and Tuesdays, and special events such as "Lunch Service Days" on certain weekdays. The course is closed for play on specific days designated for monthly member cups and offers self-play options on certain Mondays. The facility is managed by Nissin Kaihatsu, and the course design emphasizes strategic shot-making over pure distance, particularly on the back nine where fairway contours demand precision.
