Asahi Beer Cup (Half Competition)

The Asahi Beer Cup is a half-course (9 holes) strokeplay competition held at Kamo Golf Club on July 23, 2026. The event uses a Double Peria format (a type of betterball/scramble variant where partners play their own balls and the better score counts, often with a press rule) on the front nine. The entry fee is 2,200 JPY (tax included), which covers lunch; green fees are charged separately. Participants receive six cans of beer as a participation gift. Prizes are awarded to the top 10 finishers and for 5-birdie achievements. Tee times are designated by gender and age: White tees for men, Red tees for women. Gold tees are available for men aged 70 and over, and Pink tees for women aged 65 and over. Cancellations made less than 5 days prior to the event (after 17:00) incur a fee.
