The Open Event is a regular weekly competition held at Doneraile Golf Club on Sunday mornings throughout the season. It is an 18-hole singles competition open to both ladies and gentlemen. The event operates as a GOY (Golfers of the Year) competition, meaning players compete for annual aggregate points based on their weekly performances. The event is open to visitors and non-members. Green fees for 18 holes are €30 for non-members, with buggy hire available at €30.
