The TGC Scratch Open (DCGU Order of Merit event) takes place at Tyneside Golf Club, Ryton, on Sunday 23rd August 2026, with tee times from 7:30am to 1:00pm. This is an 18-hole individual strokeplay competition. Maximum Handicap Index: 7.0. Entry fee is £17.50 per person for members and £25.00 per person for visitors. All players must be aged 18 or over. To be eligible to win a prize, players must hold a valid club handicap index and have returned at least 6 scores in the previous 12 months; iGolf members are not eligible to win prizes. Ties are decided on countback over the back 9, 6, 3, then final hole. No refunds are made after tee times are confirmed. Prizes are awarded as Tyneside Golf Club Professional Shop vouchers.
